Youth Skills Camp

June 8, 9, & 10

This camp is designed to teach the fundamentals in all aspects of the game of baseball using drills geared towards the players age group. The level of instruction will be catered to the age and skill level of each individual camper. Campers will be put through similar workouts used to develop the Sooner Baseball Team into a National Championship winner!

•    Each camper will receive a baseball camp T-shirt

•    Individually specialized, as well as group instruction, in all aspects of the game.

•    The first half of the day focuses on instruction, while the second half focuses on application through game situations and more scrimmaging.

•    Non-Refundable $175.00 Deposit

Skip Johnson 14U Baseball National Showcase Camp

June 19, 20 & 21

This showcase team camp is designed to host summer baseball teams. Teams will play three games and participate in a Pro-Style workout. The coaching staff will coach the teams throughout the weekend and provide on the field instruction similar to an experience of a collegiate ball player. Each team will go through a team practice of instruction with our staff.

The Elite Baseball Camp

June 28-30, 2020

Eligibility Requirements

Enrollment is restricted to any and all high school baseball players who will graduate from high school in 2021,2022,2023,2024

This camp is open to any and all registrants that are 2021-2024.

Payment covers all baseball activities, both practice and competition, all travel to and from away fields, all food and lodging during camp hours, camp jersey and hat. You must pay a minimum deposit of $300.  The rest of your camper balance can be spread out over equally monthly amounts.

Camp Overview

The Elite Baseball Camper will get the full experience of what it is to be a college athlete.  Campers will be housed in our dorms, receive all necessary meals during the duration of the camp. Campers will be put through a college - style workout, receive skill-instruction from the coaching staff, and scrimmage at L. Dale Mitchell Park. Campers will also partake in informational sessions that will provide valuable insight on what it takes academically to be a college baseball player and what the steps are to be come NCAA eligible.

POSTION PLACEMENT:
Due to the limited number of Participants at the camp, campers will have the opportunity to showcase their skills at multiple positions during scrimmage situations.  Players who are typically “pitchers only” will have the opportunity to hit.  Players that are typically positions players will also receive the opportunity to display their skills on the mound.  A certain number of spots will be ensured for catchers at the camp.

CAMP DURATION: Camp will start at 1:30 pm on Sunday, June 28th and conclude in the early afternoon on Tuesday, June 30.

CHECK IN PROCEDURES: Check in will take place at L. Dale Mitchell Park in the Baseball Clubhouse down the 3rd base line on June 30th from 12:15 to 12:45 pm.

WHAT TO BRING: Participants will need to bring their bats, batting gloves, cleats, turf shoes, and catchers gear (if applicable). Participants will receive two practice shirts, a pair of practice shorts, and a uniform for the duration of the camp that will be worn during workouts. Participants will also need to bring bedding and any personal items needed for the dorms.

CAMP STORE:  A camp store will be available on-site. Items will include hats, shirts, and other  baseball memorabilia. Cash and check will be accepted.

Skip Johnson Baseball School

The level of instruction will be catered to the age and skill level of each individual camper. Campers will be put through similar workouts used to develop current college baseball players.

Wednesday Night Team Clinic

September 2, 9, 16, 23, 30; Oct. 7, 14, 21

This 8-week clinic is for High School graduates of 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024. Players will be placed on a team and compete against other future college players each Wednesday night. Each player will play one game per week and receive skill instruction from the baseball Coaching staff.

Registration: 5:30 and 7:30pm first night of camp

Time: 6 pm Game 1, 8 pm game 2
