Skip Johnson Baseball Camps
Virtual Hitting Camp
This camp is for baseball players from ages 7 to 14 years old (Grades 3 - 8) and who have not yet entered 9th grade. The camp will take place over a 4-week period and will place an emphasis on players improving their swings and hitting ability, working with experienced college coaches.
There will be 1 to 2 on-line (Zoom) meetings per week which will include personal video analysis, personal specific feedback as well as customized drills and instruction to implement between the on-line meetings. Players will receive a Blast Motion sensor that will be used throughout the camp and will be theirs to keep. On-line meetings will take place on the first day of camp as well as each Monday thereafter. Players will need their own equipment as well as a safe area for them to hit from a tee and/or hit balls thrown or tossed to them.

CAMP DETAILS

EQUIPMENT:
Each player will receive a Blast Motion sensor to use and keep (approx $149 value).
Each player will need an internet device (phone, tablet, laptop, etc) and internet connection that includes video.
Each player will need their own bat, tee, baseballs, and area to hit into a net/screen (back or front yard, park, garage, cages, etc). The sensor will only record information if the bat strikes a ball.
EXPECTATIONS:
Players will be expected to take a minimum of 50 - 60 swings each day between meetings.
Players must have a Blast Motion sensor.
REFUND POLICY:
We do not offer refunds on canceled campers, just a future camp credit if you decide to cancel, but we do have what is called “Cancellation Protection”. We offer basic Cancellation Protection to allow participants some peace of mind in case plans change. This allows us to keep our prices low and provide the best service possible. Due at the time of registration, Cancellation Protection entitles you to a full refund of camp fees should you cancel your registration more than 14 days prior to the start of an overnight camp, and 7 days prior to the start of a day camp. If you cancel within 14 or 7 days of the start of your session, we will give you a camp credit for all money paid. The credit is valid for three years from camp date at any of our camps, clinics or prospect events. Credit with insurance is transferable to family members or friends, and good toward a future camp.

Any additional information that we need to convey as the camp draws closer will be passed on to you via the e-mail address that you supplied when you signed up for camp. Please make it a habit to check your e-mail daily, this will eliminate any confusion and or miscommunication.
